Downtown Holiday Parade
The Downtown Business Association would
like to invite Gilroy residents and friends to this
years "Downtown Holiday Parade". This year's
parade will be MC'd by Mayor Al Pinheiro and Mrs.
Jane Howard Director of the Gilroy Visitor Bureau.
The Downtown Holiday Parade will start
at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2008, with live
entertainment starting at 4:00 p.m. Some of the entertainment
will be Gilroy's Donald "Elvis" Prieto,
a performance by Lauri Gray's Dance Studio, Suzuki
Violin Studio of Gilroy under the direction of Suzanne
Lambert and much much more…
Mr. & Mrs. Claus will be in the parade with a
possible sighting of the Grinch! At the end of the
parade Santa will then come back to the stage and
do the countdown for the Christmas Tree Lighting and
will then be available for pictures with all your
little ones in the Gilroy Chamber of Commerce breezeway.
The Chamber of Commence will also be showing Christmas
movies for the kids and popcorn will be served.
The Young Chef's Academy will be
conducting a cookie decorating event with kids in
the Chamber of Commerce building as well.
