2012 GDBA Art & Wine Stroll: The Downtown Gilroy Wine Stroll will be held Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 2:00-6:00 in the afternoon! Come sip, shop and stroll in our beautiful downtown and support our local businesses and local wineries.  Tickets are on sale now for $25 at the Gilroy Downtown Business Association Office (7780 Monterey), the Chamber of Commerce, the Visitor’s Bureau and any of the participating Wine Stroll Businesses.  Participating businesses include: 9 Lives, Amoretto Boutique, Ashford’s Heirlooms, Bonfante Collision Center, Collective Past, Dragonfly on Fifth Coffee Roasting Company, Gilroy Antiques, Gilroy Arts Alliance, Gilroy Chamber of Commerce, Gilroy Demonstration Garden, Gilroy Garlic Festival Association, Gilroy Medical Supply, Invoke Yoga Studio, Leedo Gallery, Mango Street Kids, Pinnacle Bank, Pixley House, Predator’s Archery, Station 55, The Nimble Thimble, Gilroy Vacuum Center.  Call the GDBA if you’d like to purchase tickets and need them mailed to you.  Hurry!  Prices go to $35 on the day of the event.  Click to download an event map.

• Fifth Street Live Music Series Celebrate Summer 2012 with our family friendly weekly music series beginning Friday, July 6 from 6:30-8:30 pm.  Pack a picnic dinner and some chairs and come Downtown to shake your groove thing!  Bands slated to perform are:

• August 3– The Blue Sky Band, Classic Rock
• August 17– Buffalo Canyon Band, Country
• August 24– Usual Suspects, Rock
