Construction has started on the Bertolone Project in Downtown Gilroy. There will be 4,150 sq feet of retail on the first floor topped by 12 living units above.This project is located at 7433 Monterey Street in Downtown Gilroy.

Salavan Villas, a mixed us project at 7131 and 7161 Monterey Street in Downtown Gilroy, has received approval for their 4-Story project. Their first floor will be a mix of office and retail and their 2nd-4th floors will consist of 36 living units. Parking for the units will be from the rear of the project. The developers are focusing on the benefits that the transportation center across the street provides for the residents of this project. Residents will have quick access to Cal-Train, Amtrak and VTA Community busses.

Gilroy’s Articulate Solutions Wins Big
At International Davey Awards

DOWNTOWN GILROY, CA, January 10 , 2008 – Gilroy’s distinguished marketing and design firm, Articulate Solutions, received three of the highest honors at the 2007 International Davey Awards, an international design competition that recognizes the creative excellence of smaller agencies and companies worldwide. The Davey is judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, an exclusive organization of top-tier professionals from acclaimed media, advertising and marketing firms.

Competing against over 4,000 entries from around the world, Articulate Solutions took home two Gold Awards for Art Direction/Graphic Design and Book Cover Design for “Tarawa’s Gravediggers” and a Silver Award for its Rancho Abeja logo for local developer Wellington Corporation. “Tarawa’s Gravediggers” is set to publish this month.
